On Saturday, there will be a team roping fundraiser at the
Cross T Arena after the rodeo at Elk City.
#11 slide (pick 1, draw 2 or draw 3) $120 per man, 4 hd -
may enter 2 times for a total of 6 runs. Books close
Also a #9 - 4hd for $40/roper, enter up to 5 times.
Capped at a 5+. Draw in option available. Books
close before the 1st round of #11 slide is over.
Ropings will be ran together one round at a time starting
with the #11 slide. For more details contact Lindsey

Lisa Clegg has also offered to run the concession stand at
the roping. She will be serving a spaghetti dinner.

We are excited to announce two joint
rodeos with the Oklahoma High School Rodeo association next
fall. The OKHSRA and OHSRA Boards recently approved a
three year contract with Shawnee for joint rodeos during the
Pottawatomie County Fair. Mark your calendars for
September 12-13, 2015. In addition, the "Fall Break Bash at the Lazy E -
Presented by National Saddlery" will be a joint rodeo held
on October 16-18, 2015. Please be sure and let our
Board, the OHSRA Board, the Lazy E and National Saddlery know you are
excited about these joint events!
Standard helmets are required for ALL bull riding and steer
riding events at OKJHSRA rodeos - no exceptions this is a national rule
